Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro or parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the sautéed onion mixture and fresh herbs. Mix gently until just combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until fully cooked and lightly browned on top.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete and healthy meal.
